The list server is a moderated e-list, which counts currently with over 400 members. In the list, all relevant information on the Convention on Biological Diversity, on relevant biodiversity issues, and where appropriate also on other UN and environmental topics, can be exchanged.

The list server is open for indigenous peoples and local communities, NGO representatives, and progressive academics.

The main communication language is English, occasionally some messages are posted in French or Spanish.

Unfortunately, no translation services are available towards languages other than English. However, if you wish to contribute to the list, and have difficulties to do so in English, the coordinator will be happy to assist you with translations of your message to English.

If you are not yet a member of the e-list, and wish to become so, please write a request to the coordinator ( coordinator@cbdalliance.org), in which you clearly indicate:

  • Your full name
  • Nationality
  • Organisation
  • Biodiversity related work you/your organisation works on
